2016 Dyna Is the Kind of Ride Mad Max Would Kill For – Literally!
You’ll have a hard time finding a bike as unique as this 125 hp Dyna.
One of the best things about being a Harley-Davidson enthusiast is getting the chance to be an individual. In fact, individualism is highly encouraged within riders. That’s why it’s so discouraging when you see a bunch of similar, cookie cutter rides out there. But not this 2016 Dyna Low Rider!
The owner of this Dyna took it straight off the dealer lot and into a custom shop. The custom patina paint gives it a rustic look, and a Le Pera leather side bags add to the retro feel. In order too match the hue of the fake patina, brass accents were used extensively throughout the bike.
The overall look is like something out of an old western town. But this is not a one-horse bike from a one-horse town. It has 125 horsepower, and 125 lb-ft of torque from a George and Star racing engine. The cylinders were bored out, and new pistons and a crank were fitted for power and strength.
The cylinder heads have bigger intake and exhaust valves, and a three angle valve job for added performance. To top it off, high-flow injectors ensure the thirsty power-plant gets enough fuel. Surely enough, all of the custom work ensures you’ve got plenty of power, and the reliability to keep going.
You’ll certainly want to keep going, because heads are going to turn everywhere you go! The custom touches on this 2016 Dyna are almost endless. One-off pieces include the cowl dash, upper fork covers, air cleaner cover and tank console cover.
The sum of all those parts and work is one of the most unusual rides out there — a perfect mesh of new and old. Plus, $28,500 isn’t such a bad price for such a killer custom ride.
