Forum member’s recent mods prove that you can make an already killer bike even more badass — and all it takes is a weekend!

It’s amazing some of the things you’ll randomly stumble across while posting in the forums on H-D Forums. For instance, check out this incredible 2010 Harley-Davidson Fatboy motorcycle’s new mods that one proud forums member just posted. The lucky owner of this jewel is new forums member Roy B, who had his ride revamped earlier this month.

“Ended up going with the V&H BSS with quiet baffles…which is still incredibly loud. I am hoping they calm down after some miles,” writes the Illinois-based forums member. “…Went with a DK Customs air cleaner and tuned it with a V&H FP3. Super easy to tune. Really like the added power with the passenger.”

Fellow forums members were equally ecstatic with the rockin’ results of the custom mods on an already great-looking bike. These same members were also able to help out with some great advice after Roy B mention a few slight issues that he’s having with his ride.

“Only gripe is off idle from a stop the rpms drop when letting the clutch out,” he says. “I killed it once Any idea why it’s doing this? Not sure if it’s the tune or lack of back pressure from the new exhaust?”
