Florida-Alabama event benefits American Heart Association.

The border battle between Alabama and Florida will once again be contested during Harley-Davidson’s Ace of Hearts Poker Run on October 21. And it’s all in good fun and all for a good cause: The American Heart Association. Riders are invited to pick a side and either pre-register, or sign up at either starting point: Mobile Bay Harley-Davidson in Alabama, or Harley-Davidson of Pensacola in Florida.

The day of the ride it’s kickstands up at 11 a.m. with last rider in by 3 p.m.. All riders will receive an Ace of Hearts Poker Run sheet with five places to stamp their card. The first stamp will be given at the respective Harley-Davidson starting point and the last stamp will be issued at the end point, the Flora-Bama Yacht Club in Perdido Bay, Florida. There will be three stops on either side of the state line en route to the Flora-Bama, where riders can get their additional stamps.

The rider with the best hand will be deemed the poker run winner and will win a $500 prize. All other proceeds will go to the American Heart Association. Organizers will also tally to see who brings the most bikers: Florida or Alabama. All vehicles are welcome and no motorcycle is necessary.
