Cuba Has First Harley-Davidson Rally Ever

There aren’t a lot of things that say “America” like a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. In fact, it’s easy to forget that Harley-Davidson is a brand with international appeal, even incountries that the US don’t get a long with all the time. Cuba is good example, because even though they’re a communist country, they love their Harley’s as much as we do. Which is why, for the first time ever, Cuban Harley riders had a rally.
Dozens of riders converged in the resort city of Varadero. “Dozens” might not sound like a lot, but there are only about 300 bikes on the island. Consider that nearly all of them were built prior to 1960, and suddenly it becomes amazing that there are even that many still running. Naturally, original replacement parts are difficult to come by and the bikes are more of a testament to ingenuity than anything.
