Beauty and the Bikes: Prepare to Drool Over these Amazing Photos

Harley-Davidson motorcycles and great photography make a natural fit. After all, who doesn’t love drooling over beautiful bikes? For your viewing pleasure, we present five of the best photographers in the business whose work also features beautiful women that only accentuate those gorgeous bikes. So put a little — or a lot of — time aside and check out these great Harley photography sites.

NOMADIC LIFE EXPOSURES

Nomadic Life Exposures

Our first site, Nomadic Life Exposures, is owned and operated by Deborah Stickney. Based in the Atlanta area, this prolific artist specializes in event photography and captures everything from weddings to pet portraits on film. But what we care about is the important stuff — motorcycle portrait photography.

As you can see from this Full Throttle Magazine spread, Stickney does some truly amazing work. Her shots with model Lauren (pictured) and an army-themed Harley is nothing short of drool worthy.

Stickney is also an obvious motorcycle enthusiast who dedicates entire galleries on her eclectic website to bikes. Among a solid collection of incredible photography, the “Moto Photos” gallery is particularly exceptional. The roving photographer captures motorcycle culture from every angle, including individual galleries capturing all the cool events and party people at a recent Sturgis fest.

Equally captivating and sexy is Nomadic Life Exposures’ “Motorcycle Portraits” gallery, which features more great shots from Stickney’s work with Full Throttle Magazine.

SCOTT G. TOEPFER PHOTOGRAPHY

Harley-Davidson

Scott G. Toepfer also specializes in a variety of photography, from advertisements to automotive and lifestyle shots. His work with various Harley-Davidsons is equally stunning. In fact, they’re good enough to use in some H-D advertising, which is where his great Sportster shots wound up. Just looking at his pics make you want to put on a leather jacket and do your best Steve McQueen impression on a lonely California highway.

MICHAEL LICHTER PHOTOGRAPHY

Crave Photography

For a true Harley enthusiast, it doesn’t get much better than Michael Lichter’s site. That’s because the former jazz band drummer has been riding since the ’70s, and he’s been documenting various motorcycle events on film ever since. Plus, Lichter has provided photos for everything from cookbooks to the official 100th anniversary Harley book. You’ll get lost for hours looking at his shots of everything from Sturgis to stock bike photos. Plus, Lichter’s available prints are especially compelling.

DAVID MARVIER PHOTOGRAPHY

Full Exposure: Five Great Harley Photography Sites

Photographer David Marvier specializes in fashion advertising, yet his motorcycle photography is amazing even if you don’t sport a man bun in the evenings. Only one lonesome shot of a Harley-Davidson resides on his site, but there’s plenty more to look at. This includes amazing shots from flat-track events, dirt racing and various motorcycle gatherings around the globe.

CRAVE PHOTOGRAPHY

Crave Photography - Harley-Davidson

A passionate self-proclaimed biker, Paul Crave of Crave Photography, also shoots a wide gamut of events. But instead of motorcycle advertising or fashion, Crave specializes in biker portraits. The various shots on his blog are all unique and capture both Harley and rider. It’s a unique take in that we get to see a wide variety of personalities and the bikes they love. And isn’t that connection what Harley-Davidson is all about?
