Guns N’ Roses and Harley-Davidson Team Up
As far as collaborations go, this one truly rocks.
Nothing goes together quite like motorcycles and rock and roll music. They both share a similar history of loud rebellion and pop culture Americana, and thus they are inextricably linked. You simply cannot have one without the other.

Countless bands and rock stars, from Motley Crue to Van Halen‘s David Lee Roth, have been photographed over the years wearing Harley-Davidson gear or sitting astride Harley-Davidson motorcycles. It’s powerful imagery, instantly recognizable and iconic. A few famous rockers have even penned hit songs about what it feels like to “ride the wind.”
Among the many music superstars that are longtime Harley fans is Axl Rose, frontman of Guns N’ Roses, who was recently photographed at a show in Denver performing in a Harley-Davidson t-shirt. On the band’s current “Not in This Lifetime” tour, it’s the first time since 1993 that the original lineup, including Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan, have shared the stage. It’s good to be home.
‘Harley-Davidson and Guns N’ Roses share a common respect for freedom of expression, passion for life and a dedication to adventure.’
To music fans, Guns N’ Roses certainly needs no introduction. They simply rock. From the moment Appetite For Destruction was released back in 1987, Guns N’ Roses have been kicking butt and melting faces. They’re loud, they’re raucous, and they have an attitude that can’t be matched by any other band.
That’s why GN’R is a perfect match for Harley-Davidson. The dynamic duo recently announced that Harley and Guns N’ Roses have teamed up for a limited-edition collection of co-branded t-shirts to be sold exclusively at Harley-Davidson dealerships across the nation.

“Harley-Davidson and Guns N’ Roses share a common respect for freedom of expression, passion for life and a dedication to adventure,” says Harley-Davidson’s VP of Operations, John Burke. “We’re thrilled to be able to bring a unique collection to both Guns N’ Roses and Harley-Davidson fans and celebrate the homecoming of this epic, global tour.”
The H-D/GN’R merchandise is debuting within the next week and commemorates the band’s reunion tour with co-branded tee-shirts for men and women. The designs hearken back to famous GN’R logos and album art, but with a Harley-inspired twist.
You will be able to soon find this gear at any Harley-Davidson dealership, but die-hard fans should act fast since it’s only going to be around for a limited time. We don’t expect it to last, and as much as we like you guys, we’re ready to fight you for the last men’s medium. Hey, everybody’s got a little Axl in them, right?
