Harley-Davidson Museum is a Candy Store for Bikers
You can’t go to Milwaukee, Wisconsin without making a pit stop at the Harley-Davidson Museum – it’s a must see for any motorcycle fan.
If you are looking for a destination for a summer adventure then look no further than here. For starters there are over 450 motorcycles to ogle including Serial Number One, the oldest known Harley-Davidson.
You will feel like a kid in a candy store with all the vintage and new motorcycles to check out. Plus there are Harley-Davidson bicycles, scooters, golf carts and even a snowmobile from those crazy AMF days!
The museum is surround by a 20-acre campus on the riverfront, with great views of downtown Milwaukee. There’s a gift shop, restaurant and plenty more to see and do in the area. Beer and brats, anyone?
My favorite is the Engine Room where you can see almost every Harley-Davidson engine ever built and you can even hear some of them too. The wall of motorcycle tanks is a close runner up and may inspire a redecoration of your garage.
The museum hosts bike nights, BBQ & Blues nights, Bike Brats & Beer Tours and much more. There’s even stuff for the kids to do. Check out the museum website here and plan your visit today.
You can check out more photos in our gallery below but you really should see them in person. Just saying.
