Harley-Davidson Raptor Sports Aggressive Lines From the Future
Harley-Davidson Raptor is the latest creation of the Polish custom bike outfit Nine Hills Motorcycles. According to the shop, the bike’s styling emulates a modernist design.
Polish custom bike outfit, Nine Hills Motorcycles added another wild Harley to the long and impressive list of its creation. The custom bike is called the Raptor, which is a moniker that’s been in the headlines recently because of the controversy surrounding Elon Musk’s SpaceX engines. Harley-Davidson Raptor, however, pretty much lives to its namesake, in a breath-taking way.
The custom motorcycle started its life as a modest Harley-Davidson Breakout. A quick look at the bike, and it’s safe to say that Nine Hills’ Raptor has gone through a massive makeover. The bike now sports a sharp and aggressive design. The upgraded wheels and futuristic graphics help the Raptor stand out.
This one is a head-turner, as Nine Hills’ website points out. The Polish outfit calls Raptor a “modernist” and “uncompromising bomb.” Following the theme of assigning monikers to its creations that suit their aggressive design, Raptor seems to fit its title quite well.
Harley-Davidson Raptor gets a slew of aesthetic and performance upgrades, but so far, we do not have any information regarding its pricing.
Raptor’s wheel conversion is the pièce de résistance of the ensemble. The rear end of the bike was tastefully modified, As a result, it now accommodates the large 280 mm wheel. The motorcycle also gets clip-on handlebars and a custom-made cowl that houses the headlight. The powerplant of the motorcycle now comes mated to a new exhaust, and a performance air filter completes the ensemble.
For now, we do not know if these upgrades have enhanced the performance of the Harley-Davidson Breakout motor. For the uninitiated, Harley Davidson offered its 2014 Breakout with a Twin Cam 103 cubic inch motor. A six-speed Cruise Drive gearbox helps relay the power. The air-cooled motor of Harley Davidson Breakout would produce 95 HP of maximum power and 95.2 ft-lb of peak torque in its factory spec.
Nine Hills Motorcycles also installed a new suspension system, which will definitely enhance the handling dynamics of the bike. Harley-Davidson Raptor also gets aftermarket motogadget instruments. Lastly, the graphics on the custom build were designed to emulate reptilian skin. Unfortunately, the company has not released any information regarding the price of the Raptor, however, Nine Hills did state that “this project is not for everyone.”
