MY RIDE! A 1979 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide

We all love Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Maybe it has to do with their history, or maybe it has to do with their looks. Or maybe it’s their performance and ability, or simply how they feel when we ride them. Whatever the reason, there is no denying that these machines are, undeniably, perfect. That’s not to say that there isn’t room for improvement for each individual, but rather that these bikes meet the needs of many and remain popular into the modern day. That’s certainly something to admire, and we hope it stays that way for many years to come.

Today we’ll be stepping into the garage of HDForums member Steve, who is also known by his username hyrax222, and taking a closer look at his outstanding ride that lies within.

Steve, a self-proclaimed “Old Dude” and a fan of firearms and Harley-Davidson motorcycles, is the proud owner of a 1979 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. At thirty-seven years old, this ride is definitely a classic.

Nonetheless, it’s still looking good! In fact, it’s looking more than good. Steve has clearly taken very good care of his ride, and it shows. In fact, we’d even say we’re jealous of his hog! After all, finding a flawless antique bike is a hard thing to do!
