Do You Listen to Music While You Ride?

One of my Dad’s favorite phrases is “terminally stupid,” and since I just got back from spending a bunch of time with the old man over the holidays, it was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw this pic.

Obviously, watching a movie while riding a motorcycle is asking for a Darwin Award nod. But listening to music is another thing entirely. While I’ve used ear buds under my helmet in the past—maybe not the smartest move—I’ve never ridden a bike with an on-board stereo, so I can’t speak to whether I’d like it. But since I generally subscribe to the less-is-more aesthetic of motorcycles, and I don’t like it when people blare music at stoplights, I don’t know if I’d be able to enjoy it.

Do you listen to music while you ride? Headphones or an on-board system? Let us know! >>
