Not a long video to share but some very nice smooth wheelies on a Harley-Davidson with the obligatory burn out.

When Harley-Davidson introduced the Sportster Forty-Eight, people immediately flocked to it. The motorcycle was made to be being much of the same look and feel of a bike from 1948 without actually owning, well, a bike from 1948.

I got to spend some time at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show this weekend in Washington D.C. It’s not the biggest iteration of the show but there were some very cool items from a new three wheeled motorcycle (that’s not called Slingshot) and some very trick new soft luggage.

The roads are now snow covered and the temperatures may be below freezing but our friends in the “Be Free or Die” state are already dreaming of warmer, sunnier New England days.

Harley-Davidson no longer makes entry level bikes for children, or dirt bikes, or really a small bike that young kids can learn on. So what are we to do?

Whether you are riding in all the way from Texas or East Los Angeles, there are plenty of beautiful beach and canyon roads to keep you happy for weeks at a time in Malibu.

There is an encouraging trend for the last two years in the motorcycling world. Ridership is on the rise, many brands are tallying record sales and now we get some more good news.
