2013 Harley Road King Barrett-Jackson

Tons of Harleys have graced Barrett-Jackson’s auction block over the years. Here’s a handful of our favorites.

Famed Arizona auction house Barrett-Jackson has delivered the goods for years when it comes to the finest cars, trucks, and especially motorcycles. From restored vintage models and rare rides, to the wildest customs and beloved bikes from TV and film, Barrett-Jackson has moved them all from the auction block to the garages of its customer base.

We here at Harley-Davidson Forums have gone through a few listings to bring you five the craziest, sexiest, coolest custom Harleys ever to ride off into the sunset from the Barrett-Jackson auction block. We’ve done a lot of digging to find these five, but we all agree this quintet of badass Harleys will blow your mind.

No. 1: 1993 Harley-Davidson Softail Custom Motorcycle

1993 Harley Softail Barrett-Jackson

This Harley Softail is ready for Ghost Rider to apply the Penance Stare on another damned soul. Just think of all the vengeance one could exact on this ghostly bike. The last thing anyone would see would be the ghostly flames of Hell charging towards them. Will they repent upon hearing you roll up? Only you and your bike know for sure.

No. 2: 2005 Harley-Davidson FXSTS Custom Motorcycle

2005 Harley FXSTS Barrett-Jackson

Aside from the bright lightning blue Harley logo, this FXSTS is understated. And sometimes, subtlety is all that you need to let the world know where you stand. You also can’t beat the miles of chrome all over the bike, harkening back to the days when chrome and steel and a loud V-Twin were enough to part the Red Sea.

No. 3: 2013 Harley-Davidson Road King Custom Motorcycle

Ever had a Big Wheel? Sure, it was a trike, but that big wheel up front meant you were the coolest kid on the block. And if it had a handbrake? Well, you were just badass, period. This turbocharged big red “big wheel” will definitely bring you back to your childhood, and everyone will know you’re the coolest kid on the block once more.

No. 4: 1998 Harley-Davidson Heritage Custom Motorcycle

1998 Harley Heritage Barrett-Jackson

And speaking of big wheels, why have a tall front wheel when you can have a wide front wheel? The orange paint glitters in the sun as you steamroll traffic on the highway. Just imagine how easy it is to balance the bike, too, especially when parking. No more tip-overs!

No. 5: 2010 Harley-Davidson FLHX Custom Motorcycle

2010 Harley FLHX Barrett-Jackson

Ever wonder what it would be like to be a teenage mutant turtle who was also a ninja? This green FLHX will definitely put in the colorful eye masks of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo, rescuing the world from Shredder while April O’Neil reports on your exploits. It doesn’t hurt that it already has kicked some ass on TV, as it was ridden by Sons of Anarchy‘s Jax Teller.
