Default Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes!

Powdercoater several parts black to make it more like my Nightrain of several years ago. I just didn't think the polished aluminum fender struts matched the look of the rest of the bike and could not stand the chrome horn! who wants to look at a horn anyway? Added a quarter fairing to cut the wind. I wear a full face helmet because I have a significant hearing loss and need to protect what remains so I really don't need a full shield. The quarter fairing works quite well for its intended purpose of cutting wind to chest area and eliminating the feeling of being a kite! I rode the freeway with my cut unsnapped and it did not blow like a cape! I know this look is not for everyone but I think it matches the look of the Breakout!

Default Rear view

The stock horizontal license plate is split in the middle. It takes a minor modification to make it a vertical mount which tucks in closer to the frame. This mount is not legal in all states. I have been told Florida pushes the hardest enforcement but only if you give them a reason and they are looking to push the issue. I have ridden for many years in Georgia and Tennessee and never been hassled. If you act respectful you usually just get comments like "nice bike!"

Default Quarter Fairing

The Quarter Fairing is Harley part #57070-97DH (vivid black) you can also get it prime. It is made for Sportsters and Dynas but if you get the 49mm adapter brackets fro BungKing it fits the Breakout nicely with Harley detachable clamps! You have to raise the headlight and it takes a little tinkering but worth it to have a unique look. I also changed the stock clear 'windshield' portion using a part from a company called Cee Bailey. If you google BungKing And Cee Bailey you find parts. I wanted to it to look more like a Gasser style bike and less SOA or hockey mask like. I like it a lot. I find it works best at 75-80 mph!

First red one I have seen! Nice!
Always do what makes you happy and don't worry about what others think! 40 years ago most people hated all Harley's! I kinda miss those days! When someone says " I don't care for that look!" My reply is "Thank you!" If when you are walking away you still want to turn around and smile at it, you are doing ok!

Default This is where I draw my inspiration from!

No it is not from SOA. All black and massive tires! Here's the real source of my inspiration! Ha Ha!

Looking good. I would put some lowering collars on it.... to me, the rear sits too high. Beautiful scoot though!

I have liked the Breakout since first seeing the CVO in a HOG magazine. Have only seen 1 CVO version at a dealership and it was the red while I would love to see it in the black (black diamond/molten silver). As far as CVO I was noticing the Road King and a 10k markup over stock is a bit much and I don't even like the hard lowers or shield. On a more positive note for the 110th, the complete CVO line is much more limited with fewer models being made and in fewer numbers.
