Well, I answered my own question about whether the Fobo would send a warning over the bike speakers while streaming bluetooth from the phone. It will ONLY send the warning while streaming. I was listening to Sirius this morning from their app on my phone, bluetoothed to the bike. It kept cutting in & out... the Fobo was warning me the rear tire pressure was too high (I had set it for only 45 psi max.).
If listening to, say AM radio you get no warning. (through the speakers)
I was thinking that was the case. I like to keep my phone in the tour-pac on the charger when I ride. Quess I will just have to put it in my pocket or get a handle bar mount and plug it in to the fairing, which I do not want to do.
Thanx, for the intell
Reference the high and low pressure, is that set automatically, x number of lbs above and below or do you set the min/max?
Yes, you set the nominal pressure and the FoBo app set the high and low. In addition, you can also set the high and low to whatever you want, but the FoBo settings are fine for me. You can expect at least a 10% or more like 12-13% rise in air pressure going from hot to cold.
Used FOBO on my OEM valve stems until I bought new tires, and then replaced the stock valve stems with FOBO's t-valve stems. I had the new tires balanced with the t-valve and FOBO's in place.
The t-valves are a no-brainer from a convenience perspective.
