Default Boom Box Issue

After 2 hours in a 98 degree garage trying to figure out a glitch and why the Media tab isn’t working, I figure someone here can save me from pulling more of my hair out. I’ve tried everything. The media tab is faded out; the others are a darker shade, meaning it’s not working or functional. When I put a UBS stick with music on it in the UBS port the stick is working, its flickering light indicates its running but no sound. When I toggle through the other tabs, they all work, but it skips over the Media tab like its not there. Frustrating to say the least. I’ve been all through the setup, tried different things; even disconnected the battery. Nothing works. Any ideas?

Did you trying streaming music through your phone via bluetooth? I ask because that would be listed under the media tab.

No bluetooth here. I still use a flip phone. The voice texting thing looks interesting but for know the old flipper works for what I do. The UBS stick worked a couple of months ago.

I have to ask, have you tried a different stick or reformatted the one you have?

What type of files are your songs? That could be an issue also. The Boom may not be able to read.

DAMN! I just tried a different stick in the UBS drive. Problem solved. Must be a bad format (like you said). Thanks much. I've attached a pic of my ride. I must say, you have excellent taste. Ride safe. Recon.
