I have a pair of Harley Davidson Windshield Trim mirrors installed on my 2015 Street Glide. Part numbers 56000091 and 57400254. These mirrors shake and vibrate more than the OEM fairing mounted mirrors. I mean a lot more. At times they vibrate some much I cant see a car behind me but the fairing mounted mirrors are still clear. I need to replace the fairing mirrors because my hands blocking most of them after I installed the Krome Werks 2+2 Sweeper bars.
I have verified the three screws mounting the mount are tightened to the correct torque rating.
Verified the mirrors are tight in the mounts and the set screws are tight against the flats on the mirror stems.
Is anyone else running this mirror set up? Are you having problems with the mirrors vibrating like this? If not what did you do to prevent the vibrating? What other mirrors set ups are yall using to
I really like to look of these mirrors and this set up. But the vibrating is making my nuts. Help!!
