I would suggest reading your OWNERS MANUAL before you ride your bike. That way questions like these are never answered.

Lo Range means your totally screwed if you dont get gas in the next 5-10 miles. When the reserve light turns on, you have about 1.2 gals of fuel left and it even tells you how many miles you have left until you run dry.

Manual states when the gas light turns on you have 1 gal left, but in my exp. when the reserve light turns on and you fill up right after I put about 4.8 gals

 

Was gonna say, mine was indicating 15 to go once, didn't get that message, and was only able to squeeze 4.9 gallons in it, so I had a ways to go yet.
