Ok... Road King guys, what are you doing for head lights.
I went for the FuelMoto LED kit only to return it because of non-compatability...
I would rather just drop in halos or LEDs instead of daymaker-type stuff... obviously passing lamps (881's) will need to follow

Sunpie is what I got for all 3 lights. Got em off EBAY for less than a $100. For a Rushmore RK you will need an adapter or cut the stock wiring harness.
H8/H11 Low beam and H8/H11 High beam to H4

I hope this helps.

You know, I read about LEDs, HIDs ya da yada.

and honestly I looked into them all, yet, when I ride my bike, many times at night, I wonder why this constant search for lights when the lights on my Road King work perfectly fine for me.

I can see if a Street Glide with no other light but the headlight.

The Road King has 3 lights running when on low beam plus the two turn signal lights.

I just cant see what will be better at night and be more visible in the daytime.
Im more concerned about people seeing me then me seeing the road at night, which I can perfectly well. I looked at a lot of oncoming motorcycle headlights during the daytime and without question LED headlights have VERY limited angle and very hard to see, sometimes it doesnt even look like they are on. In fact its why LED look brighter to some, the angle of very well controlled light is more focused, thing is, no one can see the lights during the day time when off center from the bike!

Not so with my standard OEM Headlight and 2 driving/fog lights. You are blasted by light. Im so happy with the lighting that I even swapped out the standard white dirving/fob light bulbs with DOT yellow/gold bulbs (also have the non DOT yellow bulbs but was getting flashed alot by oncoming traffic), I have awesome front and rear lighting and REALLY it stands out, all DOT too.

With all the above said, dont get me wrong, if an LED comes out that matches what I have, sure, I would strongly consider it but we also have to consider reliability in what we buy.
