Default Vibrations

On my new Limited (Only 180 miles on it so far), I've noticed some vibrations through the floorboards that I didn't have on my 2012 classic. Nothing through the seat or grips, just the floorboards. Not terrible, but noticeable. Kind of like the high frequency vibes you get in the grips of an in line four bike (Which is why I no longer ride in line fours).

Anything I should look at or have the dealer look at when I take it in for the 1,000 mile service ? Or, do you think this will smooth out as the bike breaks
in ?

Default I had the same question.

I rode a 2004 Heritage softail before I got a 2014 SGS. I thought the vibration was excessive through the floorboards and shifter. took it in. They said it was normal. I'm switching to 75-90 at oil in the trans on my 1000 mile service. I was used to a balanced engine, solid mounted on my 2004. Now I have a non-balanced, rubber mounted. Maybe that's the difference.

I noticed it too. I went from a 12 Limited to a 14 Limited. I asked my dealer about it at the 1K mile service. They said it is due to the new cams. I rode a demo they had and felt the same vibration on it. So I'm not going to worry about it.

I feel an itch in my nose so I think there is a high freq vibration coming from somewhere on the bike. Don't laugh, as a former helicopter pilot, high freqs can be felt as a tingling in the toes or an itch in the nose. High freqs, at least in aviation, can be damaging.
