Russ; your story saddens, but also shows how precious life is so we should work to take each moment to its fullest. God bless you and your wife and I wish you/her the best in this and after life. Give her the physical world now and you'll both enjoy the higher world together...again. You've got the right mentality so do everything in your control to keep your wife's health going and her spirit flowing. Prayers continued for all your family. Take care!

Prayers to your family, Viper...we can relate...the docs are giving my wife up to five more years unless they find a cure or something to prolong her quality of life...not as iminent as you and your wife's present situation, but soberingly sad and stressfull nonetheless...she's lost too much weight and muscle mass

So sorry to hear of your loss. I know this is very difficult but you will get through it you have your children to think of. Six months ago I lost my wife of 32 years to cancer and it was very painful. Through it all she never wavered or complained although there were many surgeries and countless chemotherapy. She never told me not to ride my motorcycle even though she was very afraid. This will be our first Thanksgiving and Christmas without her but we will manage the kids and I and live on to celebrate her memory. Thankfully we had hospice at home in the end and it was very very comforting. Treasure every moment my friend with your loved ones, my best to you. God bless.
