Did they stretch out the riding position on the '24's? That's my only complaint with the touring line up - they're sized for guys 5'8. At 6'1 I've added the tall boys floor board relocation kit and it made it far more comfortable. Wonder if they fixed that for 2024.
I'm 5'8" and I prefer being a bit more stretched out. The foot board position seems about the same but the seat is different. The SG still has the low handlebars; the RG setup is much better, even for a shrimp like me.
Have really enjoyed the new screen although the Nav maps leave MUCH to be desired. The two finger zoom feature just does not work for me! once a route is loaded the turn by turn is good, but no route information beyond the next turn. As with any new design the is a learning curve and besides the nav the system is very nice. unless, you have used Android Auto in the past, maybe it will appear in an upgrade in the future.
I was having a heating issue where the code generated said the water pump relay was failing. took it to my dealer and they kept it 9 days trying to replicate the code they pulled; after reflashing the ECM! no code and the update seems to have solved the problem.
3k miles and averaging 50+MPG. now, there is some interstate miles, but mostly back country Florida roads at 50-60 mph. Did the 1000 myself and was pleased to see little to no deposits on the three magnets in the plugs.
Hand grips take a bit to get used to, seems they are a bit flat for highway cruising.
waiting for bag lights to adapt to the new 12 pin plugs now used to bring power to the back of the bike. my 19 RG special used a 6 pin format. Manufactures tell me they are working on it...so....
do the error codes appear on the screen? also waiting on Custom Dynamics to create bag lights for my '24 Streetglide. It' obvious there's not unuf lighting on the back. I am on a wish list with them.

hold the trip button down while turning on the power. The diagnostics screen will appear, scroll thru test area and any with a code will show the number of codes...tap that line and the codes will appear.
Write the code down and google them to see what causes them.
Any chance you have kept track of (or does the bike keep track of) average MPG? I would expect it to be very high.[/QUOTE]
Although Ill never admit to being a nerd I do track mpg with all my vehicles with Mileage Keeper app. My last five fill ups - mix of city/hwy, mostly in Road mode, some in Sport. Mostly solo. Im a fairly conservative rider. 24 SG now with 1300 miles on it.

So between 35-40 mpg is what I take away from this?

That’s what I’m seeing. My hwy speeds are usually 75-80. ZEUSHOG claims 50 mpg but mentions that’s at 50-60 mph. Best I’ve seen so far was 40.7 mpg achieved at a steady 80 mph

Now, I'm a backroads leisure rider with maybe average speed of 45-50. I have ridden the interstates at 70 and that section was mid 40's.mpg. style controls a lot!

I decided to give the pure highway economy test a shot. Put the cruise on 70mph and left it there. You can see the result. Have to admit I was surprised. Three thoughts about that run. I try to always buy fuel from a station that uses Top Tier gas (google it. Thats a specific classification based on detergent additives, which does improve mileage about 4-5%). In this case I filled up at QT to start, then Costco to finish. Second, the dash readout for the trip meter read 49.1mpg. Ive consistently found that calculation to be at least 2mpg optimistic. Lastly, youre taking you life in your own hands only travelling at 70 mph on Texas highways. Its way more comfortable to travel with the flow of traffic (75-85 mph)
