Thrashin' Supply 6.5" pullback risers seem to work for a lot of people, there's a brand new set in the classifieds here for a steal of a price (not mine) I'd say give them a go. Link to Thrashin' ad
I put the Thrashin 6.5 with 1.5 pull-back on my wife's Lowrider ST. The reach is perfect for her (she's 5'-6"). I originally was going to put the new riser bushings in but they sent the wrong ones. The risers with the stock bushings...her bars are rock solid.
For reference I'm 5'8" with 28" inseam and here is what it will look like with Thrashin 6.5 Risers. I may go 8" at first service as they are just a touch to short. At 5'6" I bet they would be perfect for you.
I am 5'4" and I have 13" Lucky Daves 13 bar, which has 1.5" of pullback to it. Rode that for a while and was still hunched forward. Then I added the Kraus Trex plate and now its perfect. For me, my hands are right at shoulder height and I'm sitting straight up, not hunched anymore.
