Damn. Asked my local shop to order a set of cartridges, spring, and oil from Ohlins. They say April 2025 shipment. Only a month out for the rear shock.

 

I heard Brembo recently purchased Ohlins. I wonder if that is part of the reason for the delay.

Give Big Bear Performance a call. That's where I got mine. They have Ohlins, as well as their own brand of Ohlins they put out when Ohlins had supply issues. Regardless, great shop and fantastic customer service. I put my own in, but they even have install service where you ship your legs and they send back complete.

I live pretty close to Ohlins USA headquarters. We are in Western NC and they were definitely affected by hurricane Helene. I’m pretty sure their facility was completely consumed by flood water and debris. Might have something to do with production or shipping delays.

So, who has done the Ohlins upgrade on an LRS? How much of a difference does it make? Any change in suspension travel?

if that's the case Harley already had those shocks built and sitting in a warehouse.

 

i got SE ohlins front and rear. makes a world of difference. i wish they made a 13.5" version for the rear, but they dont.

if i bought another softail, I would do it again
