Hi All, Have a 2021
Fatboy that is reading incorrect fuel reading on gauge.when full is reading 3/4 of a Tank.
It seems to read 1/4 of a Tank under what it should be. Any ideas?

I know it's irritating, and I know someone should come along and recommend a fix. But, I've never owned a Harley with a 100% accurate fuel gauge and personally wouldn't throw any money at it. Have always used my trip and fill up at 100-150 miles. Just my thoughts

 

mine will show Full right after a fill up but will then quickly from to 3/4.
Like Dave said. Use your trip display

 

I've run into a few times where the fuel gage is not reading completely full or something like that.
Anytime this has happened, I have ridden the bike to nearly empty, and then refuel, trying to top off the tank as much as possible.
It seems fix the the or at least whatever float read out issue it was.

 

My 2018 Heritage had that issue. I can’t remember what the heck they replaced (fuel sending unit) maybe and that took care of it.

I will have pull the paperwork out and check.

 

EDIT,Pulled out the Fuel Pump and the Float seems to have a small Crack.
