For the reasons others have already stated I traded my Indian Pursuit for a 2024 RG back in Feb 2025. Love the bike, but I've had the worse luck with this one. The day I picked it up I left a pair of gloves sitting between the saddle bag and rear fender. One of them dropped into the wheel and got wrapped around the disc and inside the brake caliper. In the process of getting all tangled up it broke the ABS sensor. Dealer replaced the part and I picked it up the next day. Unfortunately, it seems this was an indicator of all the bad luck to come.

In less than 100 miles I started having issues with the Skyline OS. Primarily getting Apple CarPlay to connect/operate, but there were other phantom issues that became so frustrating I doubted if the speedo and fuel gage were even accurate. Dealer installed the new software, but that didn't seem to fix everything. One of my riding buddies flashed his and offered to re-flash mine to see if it made a difference. His flash got rid of the ghosts but Apple CarPlay still has issues to this day.

Later in the spring a group of us went to AR for Spring Fling. I let my son ride it for a day while we were there. He, unfortunately, dropped it at this incredibly awkward intersection when we had to come to a quick stop for what I'll call an erratic rider leading our group. Minor damage to the fairing, engine guard, and saddlebag. Nothing that couldn't be replaced and luckily the only thing hurt was his pride. I thought the dealer, insurance, and MOCO did a great job getting all the color matched parts in and replaced in a timely manner. They said it would take ~6 months, but the parts came in and got it turned around in about two.

As soon as I got it back, though, it started going into limp mode and has been in and out of the the dealer to troubleshoot the root cause. The last time it was in they kept it for two months trying to run down the culprit. They worked with a Harley rep and opened a case number. I got it back in Sep and have ridden it trouble free for a little over 2k miles. Then it went into limp mode again last weekend and the dealer is picking it up tomorrow for more diagnostics/troubleshooting. I would guess that it's been at the dealer for about 4 of the 10 months I've owned it, maybe more.

If I'd never had the self-inflicted issues, the Skyline OS would reliably work, and they could find the phantom electrical problem that keeps kicking it into limp mode, I would say this is the best Harley I've ever owned. It rides and handles like a dream. It's fast, nimble, comfortable, and super fun out on the open rode. Carves the corners better than any touring bike I've owned and has more torque/power than you really need. I've added a chopped tourpack (detachable), Khrome Werks mufflers, heavy breather, SE Tuner, Stage III audio, heated grips, and switch out the windshield between a CVO, 10", or 13" Klock Werks shield to suit the weather conditions. I absolutely love the setup, even the stock bars, but I'm questioning what direction I should go because of the limp mode and Skyline issues. Should I pursue a MMWA claim (there isn't a lemon law for motorcycles in my state), look to trade/sale, or what? I'd feel shitty about trading/selling off my problem to someone else and I also don't want to start over on mods. I've researched the MMWA claim process and even though I think it's the "right thing" to do in this situation, it's a long and agonizing process. Can also be an out-of-pocket burden if done incorrectly. I feel somewhat trapped in owning an unreliable motorcycle that I have a love/hate for.

25 RG got it in March, did the 20k service New Year’s Day.
Only issue I have had is with the TPS sensors (the front had to be replaced).
Love the bike.

Default Loving the 25 SGU

Just did the 1000 mile service on the SGU. Bike is flawless and runs like a rocket!

Dealer installed the Stage 3 Rockford system as we agreed to. I must say Stage 3 is miles above Stage 2. The base is awesome, it rocks so well it’s hard to believe it’s a motorcycle!

New screens are good looking and the speakers are high quality.
Ill put up some picks and try to put on a short video.

The base is unbelievable, you’d have to hear it to believe it!

Video won’t load, little to big. The next upgrade will be Reinhart 2 into 1 headers . The bike runs so good now I may NOT even install Stage 2 Cam.

In April, I traded in my 2017 Electra Glide CVO (70,000 km) for a 2025 Road Glide CVO. I'm one of those who didn't have any problems. In my first few kilometers, I went to a Harley event on the French Riviera, the Eurofest, in Port Grimaud, on the Côte d'Azur. I arranged to have the oil changed there, since I would be riding 1,600 km, but they didn't honor my reservation (there were many motorcycles because of the festival) and I had to have the change done on the way back, in Geneva. I exceeded the initial recommended limit; I had the first service at 2,800 km, but nothing changed on the bike, it's still as light as a feather. But, again, I went to Medellín for the HOG Rally 2025 Medellín (Croatia), from June 11th to 18th, 2025. Then, I had the second service at 10,000 km, the normal service, without problems. This event ended very well for my motorcycle.

I swapped my '14 UL for a' 25 SGU. There's a lot to love about the SGU. I only have about 4K on it so more to come. No issues thus far.
What I'm not really happy about is that it's turning into a 1-year bike, it seems. New for 25, and not in rhe 26 line-up, instead they are bringing back the UL for 26. Someone tell me I'm wrong there please.

I'm not an Apple guy, and am not happy that it has CarPlay but no support for Android. The prevailing excuse is that they signed some deal with Apple to only have CarPlay, while they claim that it's because Google is dropping motorcycle support because it's not safe. We know that's a line of BS because almost every other manufacturer is supporting it.

Other things missing can be overcome, like another pair of speakers, power in the tourpak, etc. I do miss the external power in the fairing, and the USB-C line doesn't allow a "hub" so you can have more than one device plugged into it.. Like your phone and a thumb drive. I do miss the passing/fog lights too, like others. Mostly I'm still irritated that they only discontinued the UL for the one year, making it sound like this was rhe replacement for it.

I recently transitioned from 2020 Ultra Limited, which i still own and still love, to a 2025 CVO Road Glide ST.

Good things i could report include:
- The massive power and easier handling of this RG is felt the moment i pulled the bike out the dealer's lot
- Everything in this bike looks and feels premium, from the speakers, the inner fairing to the handlebar and controls, which i believe the least we expect from a CVO
- Suspension is definitely better than the one used to ship standard with the previous platform (before 2024). I honestly feel it is quite close to the Wilber's i had on the ultra
- The new Infotainment system is way clearer and practical, Apple CarPlay works seamlessly and the sound coming from these Stage II speakers is super awesome
- Stock seat looks to be doing alright for me comfort and position-wise. Although i didn't have the chance to do 100+ miles rides

And here are few things i think i need to work on as nothing in this life is perfect:
- I am missing the heated grips, will have to order a set soon
- Being on the taller side of the spectrum (6'2ish) i am getting heavily struck by the wind, mainly my upper part and head. A 10 incher shield made things better, but i think i still need to find a more suitable one
- Although this bike comes with Screaming Eagles mufflers, but the sound is not even close to my liking. Sadly, i have to live with it due to some new noise regulations we have over here

Mods i did already to make a good ride even better:
- Rear flat-out bars
- Full-size rider footboards + heel shifter
- Klock Werks 10" sport windshield
- CVO pillion seat + passenger pegs for when the wife wants to join the fun
- Peak Design handlebar iPhone mount

Overall and to summarize, I'm absolutely happy with the new ride and have zero-regrets pulling the trigger and forking this horrible sum of $$$. I can't wait to for the first service to start riding in full-blown mode.
