I built my own solo limited. I travel 1 up so a chopped pack behind the rider balances the weight better.

With respect to comfort I have loved the Mustang super touring. I’m 6’1” and with the stock bars all the way forward it makes a great rider triangle. I’ve tried several other setups (bars and seat combinations) but after 30K+ miles on that setup (between a 23.5 CVO RG and a 2025 RG) it’s the best setup (in my humble opinion) for comfort/touring. We ended up doing an iron butt coming back from Panama City Beach to OKC last year to beat the weather with no issues.

Which solo tour pack mount did you use? Everything I read says "will not fir a 25 RG".

I think half of the parts I’ve used have stated that. Any rack/backrest/ect for a 09 up frame will work on the new bikes.

I was one of the first on the new platform with my old CVO and had figure out what parts from the older bikes would and wouldn’t work. When I traded for the 25 I knew what I wanted but most of the parts indicated they wouldn’t fit, but they will. Coming from an old chopper guy, don’t let the directions stop you from making it work!

I'll probably have to swap out the seat... was considering that one. Did you move the boards and brake pedal? My current machine has the boards out 1" and forward 1". Brake pedal is softbrake (longer and flatter).

The rider triangle is dictated by the seat/bar/peg relationship. With the stock seat I prefer the boards being forward and 14 inch bars. With the mustang seat moving you back 1.75 the stock bars and board placement (with highway pegs to stretch out on the hwy) fit me really well.
