here are a couple more
1. make your own rigid form bag/backrest similar to biker's friend. take any cheap duffle bag that is whatever size that you desire. then go by proper sized cardboard Readyform from local hardware store, and cut to size. readyform is cardboard cylinder that you pour concrete into(in case you were wondering or didn't know) cost about $10 for whole set up.
2. plastic covers for when you remove those ugly a$$ turnsignals but still want to keep you quick detachable sissybar set up. just cut the wires and remove turnsignal. replace with an allen head bolt of equal thread and length. black plastic caps are chair leg ***** also from local hardware store. they come in tons of sizes and in white as well. cost was about $10.

The backrest could even be fabbed up on the side of the road if need be.
Or, in a motel room, if you had a pillowcase and maybe a pillow along with you.

oh yeah, and big thanks to MUD!!!
I want one of those side mount license plate brackets! wow
maybe a description of the "way low" layback license plate mount on the fender. personally like that look a bit more than the side mount.

I think the sidemounts look like sh it.
the "way low" layback license plate mount on the fender
is really very self explanatory.
This thing can be made for a few bux.
I got mine from HOGRIDA cause he does the cleanest execution I have seen.

Need to keep this thing up at least on the first page.
Mud,
Seeing that pic of you standing on the seat tells me that your either braver or crazier than I am,maybe both.
Nice work on the bracket and dash panel.
I thin its fairly safe to say thatthe Mudsicle is going to be one very slick low buck bike, even if it is a Dyna.
[sm=joke.gif]Guy's so please don't jump all over me cause I like my Softy better.
I'm a short **** and I can reach the ground and forward controls easier on one.

It would be much more likely to remain on page one
if folks like you would comment now and then
on some of the how to postings.
I have quite a few others documented -
building rear fender for the mudSickle
building shock mount lowering for the mudSickle
rolled back and ribbed front fender for the mudSickle
hidden mount sissy bar for the mudSickle
tools to make for electrical, fork assembly, etc
and some others that I have photoDocumented.

Lucy walked out in the back yard, and said -
Charlie Brown, I knew you were crazy,
but now I can see you're nuts.....
