I've had my bike for about 7 weeks and I think this thread is awesome!&nbsp\\; While I have not come up with anything custom or cheap for your bike, I did find a few for your bike's parking spot.&nbsp\\; Especially if you have detachable hardware like I do.&nbsp\\; As you can see below, I made wall mounts for my HD quick detach windshield and sissy bar as well as my Boss bags.&nbsp\\; Over the winter I'm thinking about some type of flooring and maybe a bubble (more to keep kids and dogs away).&nbsp\\; Let me know what you think of my mods.
&nbsp\\;
Windshield Mount: - free - I fould old conduit that is 1 3/4 I believe.&nbsp\\; If you don't have that lying around like I did, you only need 2 feet.&nbsp\\; I then welded into an H to match the dimenstions of my front end.
&nbsp\\;

&nbsp\\;
Sissy bar Mount - $2.57&nbsp\\; Chrome hook from Home Depot.
&nbsp\\;

&nbsp\\;
Boss Bags Mount - free - I found an old 2x8 and 4 bolts.&nbsp\\; You'll need a tape measure and a screw driver or drill.
&nbsp\\;

&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
total package:
&nbsp\\;

after reading this thread for ever it seems i have a something&nbsp\\; for ya also.
&nbsp\\;
in one post they had polished the fork legs. to keep them with that look use FLITZ polish as the last step it will also bring a brighter shine and still protect it for up to 6 months.

Would Flitz also work on polished engine covers (primary, cam, tranny) or is heat a problem?

I dont see why it would not, I used it on the valve covers on my 68 ss elcamino . on a 396.
I drove it about daily when it was in the off season for shows.
&nbsp\\;
Also used i on the big truck for my tanks and wheels for years.
&nbsp\\;
it really is some great stuff. best i have see for bringin up a shine and keepign on there for more then a week or so. it will make water bead up and run off after it is on there.

This thread needs to be seperated into one thread for each mod.

The original idea is to have them all in one place.&nbsp\\; When I started it I put up an index and will continue to do it as time goes on.

All in one place, yes as a sticky like it is now but to find the info in the current single thread is a bit difficult. Would be nice to have a sticky thread for each mod.

just make it easy and make the index a sticky and then you dont have to have this as a sticky as the index will or should point to it no matter where it is. but some borads also have a grave yard after so long the will can the older threads
