glad to see the index back Mud thanks for all your time and effort. but i noticed that some of mine on the first couple of pages weren't included. front sigs, CD AC cover and leather grips. they did have pics so i was wondering if i need to edit something in to be included in index...a title maybe?
only way i could get pics to show is to copy a direct link from photobucket then click on yellow ''insert image'' icon just above the message box and paste it in the pop up box.
Thanks XKROME let's give it a try.
This came about because I procrastinated and drug my feet and didn't have enough time to order a set before a trip without going air freight. I took some scrap 1/4 plate and cut the basic shape and drilled my holes. For the yokes to mount the pegs in I took a couple of 1/2 breaker bars we had warranteed at work and cut them down to 4" lengths (should have went 5"). My plan was to drill and tap them but for some reason I was only able to drill one and the other was too hard. I ended up grinding the ends down to fit into the holes in the bracket and welded them in.
The screw that held the drive onto the breaker bar is 5/16 instead of 3/8 like the bolts for the pegs but since they aren't under much load I'm not worried about it. For the final part I moved my passenger pegs to the new brackets. They work great and were priced right.
