That chrome bolt that goes down low on the shift arm?
No good. Its chromed and honestly it seems to be a slightly finer thread. It TQ'ed down at 30 Lbs but wasnt pinching that shift arm on the shaft tight enough.
Tossed the chrome death bolt. Put stocker back in...Solid.
Gotta run down to ace in the AM and get one thats long enough to use a lock washer.
Word of warning: La Jockey is a badass kit. The fit and quality is literally OEM. With one exception being the supplied bolt that secured the shifter itself to the factory stubby shift arm? No good. Toss it. Put one in that isnt chromed.
Another guy had the same issue over in the Softail section.
Chaz: You should see if you can find someone to film you on the left side as you go by shifting a couple of times so we can see how badass you look doing it. No joke. I really think it would be cool.
does any one know whether I can remove the heatshields and wrap V&H shortshots exhaust, as im not sure if the gap between the two pipes will accommodate the wrap ??

Got the DNA wheel and Carlini bars mounted on. Also picked up some Arlen Ness mirrors and the red plug wires that everyone has...
Oh yeah, had the rotor centers and pulley PC'd matte black along with the bars. Big thanks to Joe Knapp(JRK5892) for all the PC work and installing and wiring my bars. Excellent work and he may be a sponsor here soon...
I've gotta stay away from this site. You jerks keep givin me more idea's on how to spend cash!
