* HOW TO * under fifty bux *
I've searched high and low for an EZ-Just air/fuel mixture screw for a Keihin butterfly carb. They are available everywhere for the CV, but not the butterfly (although they are advertised at various sites, they have been discontinued and no longer available). I decided to make my own, originally from scratch I later decided to modify one that a member from another board had sent me (THANKS IRONMAN!). I think it came out pretty well though I haven't actually tried it yet. I drilled the original needle about 1/4" deep and turned a piece of brass to fit in the hole. The next part of the shaft that butts against the thread was turned a different diameter (the same size as the slotted top of the needle). Then I knurled the top. I soft soldered the original needle to the knurled portion.
Total price: $5.47 for the OEM needle (I already had the metal).

buddy of mine rode down from the East Coast,
and I hooked him up with one of my little girlfriends...........
butt, he only had the solo seat, so,
we took her purse and stuffed it with an old tShirt.
zipTied it closed, tucked the taillite wiring underneath,
then wired it to the swingarm and the sissyBar.
Worked out perfectly.................

I now know that this type of mount can be made using older softail pullbacks and top bar mount.
The point of this exercise was to have the speedo mounted at the stock angle.
A savvy shopper could bring this in under $50.00 or very close.
