Default Instruction sheet database thread test

Greetings to all of you!

As a member of this forum I would like to share some information on H-D instruction sheets with you.

Below you will find a database I was able to set up with the help of mud

The first part shows the p/n's in numerical order, the second part shows the parts in alphabetical order.

When you click the bold link (p/n) you will get access to the pdf file.

The database is far from being complete; just give me some time to do more research and add the info to the database.

Any addition from your side is more than welcome, just let me know in this thread.

Kind regards,

FXD2003Rider

Arrow ***Write-up on how to add images to a post***

Before you even TRY to post a picture on HDF (see image below):

1. go to your User CP (upper left side of page on blue toolbar) and click on it.

2. Scroll down to "Edit Options" click on it.

3. Now scroll all the way down to the bottom and

4. change from "Basic Editor" to "Enhanced".

5. Confirm settings by clicking "Save Changes" .

If you have not done this then HDF will not allow you to post pictures. (Terry1955; "Administrator & Troll Slayer", 02-20-2010)

Here's how to add (large size) images to a post:

I use a free account at photobucket.com to copy/paste pics into a post.

First you have to upload your pictures from your computer to your photobucket account.

1. Go to your Photobucket account

2. Left click the green button

3. Left click the green button

4. Find the folder on your computer where your image is stored

5. Select the image(s) and left click "open"

6. Add a title, description and tag (as desired) to the image

7. Left click the blue button

When posting at HDForums.com, here's how to add an image:

1. Find the image in your Photobucket account

2. Left click the IMG code text bux under the image

3. Right click this IMG code and select "copy"

4.Go to your post at HDForums.com and paste the IMG code into the text

If wanted, you can preview your post and click "Submit reply".

Here's how to add an images to your Avatar:

Before you start select an image you want to use and be sure it's size

does not exceed 150 by 150 pixels or 1,91 MB (whichever is smaller).

I use MS Paint to check these numbers and to re-size the image of needed.

Click "User CP" and "Edit Avatar" (see image below):

Click "Use Custom Avatar" checkbox, click "Browse" to find the image

on your computer, select the image and click "Open" (see image below):

Now click "Save Changes" and check the result in your User CP (see image below):
