Has anyone installed the HC Cycle Chubby apes, not the Wild 1 bars they sell, and have pics? Their house brand bar has less pull back, 9", than the Wild 1 with 12", which seems like it would be a better fit. May not have to push the bars forward as much.
Kuma, I havn't installed them but I'm sure someone will chime in. Just wanted to say that apes would look great on your ride. I'm replacing my 12.5s with 16s next month.
Good luck man!
I have them on my 06 fxst. I bought the whole package including chrome controls. They are the house brand. I believe they are actually the drag specialty's brand. I like them alot.
My friend has 16" Chubby's with the 12" pullback and he doesn't like them. He says the wrist angle is all wrong with 12" pullback. He keeps advising me to get 9" or less pullback. My 2 cents.

Have you found any with less pull back? The Carlini flyin apes look straighter but too much money for me.
Found these on eBay, 8.5" pullback, but they are 16" wide od at the bottom and imo will not match up well with the forks.
Sorry, but I don't have much more info for you. I'm up against the same decision as you. I'm ready to pull the trigger on a set of apes for my bike, but I'm not 100% sure what to order. All I know for sure is, my friend says not to buy 12" pullback. I have rode his bike and agree, they are not that comfortable. Seems like the wrist is turned outwards too much. If that makes any sense.
