I posted this in the Touring Models fourm aswell, just trying to cover all basses....
I have a customer that for some reason, wants to put a Fatboy fender on his Street Glide. I have 2 Street Glides, a Road Glide, and a Ultra classic here for paint but no Fatboy.....I have looked at alot of pictures of stock fenders for the Fatboy and it doesnt look like it will fit.
I have a few questions....
Has anyone tryied this before?
What is the width of a stock Fatboy fender?
What is the height of a stock Fatboy fender from the mounting holes to the top of the fender?
I'm looking at doing this but in reverse. A Street Glide fender on a Fatboy, so I'll be interested in following this thread. If it will work maybe we can swap.

I had this same question in the Touring section and i guess H-D makes a adaptor kit to put a Fatboy fender on a Street Glide...
As far as your little project is concerned, I know of a few guys that have done what your wanting to do and you have to get a set of lowering mounts for the Street Glide fender to make it sit right (C&J cycle has them)
I guess you have to cut the rivits out of the fender and mounts and re-rivit the new lowering mounts in and get it painted and your set. Lowers the fender 1 inch
