I have my '08 electrical book.. not sure, but it might be the same..... I'll go dig it out.

okay:
6 wires coming to the rear:
Blue
Red on yellow
black
violet
orange on white
brown
----------------
black is ground
----------------
right rear TS: (labeled 18 a/b)
black
brown

left rear TS: (labeled 19 a/b)
black
violet

Rear light: (labeled 93 a/b)
black
brake light: red/yellow
running light: blue
-------------------------
Let me know if that helps.

The '08 book shows that the O/W is a common power bus. The R/Y is from either the front switch or rear switch.

What year book is that from Mud? If that is an '07, they must have made wiring changes for the '08.

Take a look on the link below, at the bottom of the page is a wiring diagram, pretty much all Dyna's use the same colors.

your book is 008

mine is 006.

out of curiosity........
would you put a test light on your orange/white and red/yellow to verify a change??

Will have to be tomorrow. Here's a scan of the wiring from my book.

Also these particular scans are from the Int.& Domestic (except FXDWG, FXDC & FXDF)

OK, that answers that question.
rear light wiring changed from 006 to 008.

Now my question is - where does the 007 fall, and pre 006??

I do not see any difference, The O/W did not go to the light back in 05, colors to the actual lights are as shown on my diagram. The O/W is not used. I realized this when I rewired my whole tail configuration. The only difference is correcting an error from the older diagrams.
