I can change it back to stock at any time. I just want to see how it will look.
I have a lot of free time on my hands and I get bored.

I understand getting bored. But that looks like a Welders Mask mounted up there.
Just my 2 cents worth. No Offense.

That fairing would go with a coffin tank.

Does it make decaf or just regular? Just kidding man - it won't be for everyone.

how about a tall sissy bar for packing all your gear for long trips. hitting the road for a long haul this summer, so i decided to make a tall sissybar to make packing easy.

8' of 1/2 x 1/2 bar stock is around $9.00. little bit of spray paint, and you are ready to go.

I went to auto-zone just to look around this morning.
$35 for parts, some welding and 2 beers later, I have an almost free flowing exhaust system.
I made small baffles that slip into the stock pipes a bit and stops 1/2 way into the muffler tips.
I need to decide what kind of fuel injection module I'm going to get now.
It runs, but its lean.
Any thoughts?

That looks really good. Can't beat the price either.
Try putting a lollipop (washer welded to a bolt) on to create a little back pressure.
Can't help you on FI module, I have a carb.

So, from the sounds of your post, you made the exhaust AND the baffles? Did you chrome the exhaust also?

Default Emergency MonkeyButt Pad

300 miles to Hinesville (real name) Ga. gave us serious lackawanna by the time we got there on these stock seats. Did some research and decided I'll rebuild my own seats later. For now, what won out is the Walmart Gel seat pad, $21.00 and a $6.00 black nylon laundry bag.
I cut the pad to fit the front seat, used the leftover pieces for the back, duct taped the mesh to the underside of the gels and voila! All the way back and no complaints, even from the 'roids!
The tape just stuck well enough to get us home; it's definitely a jury rig.

I'll be putting these inside the seats later on, along with some restructuring.
edit: back home I've hot-melt glued some rubber shelf liner to the undersides and we're still using them. Now they don't try to slide off or get tape glue on the seats!
