Oldman9, I like the twin headlight look, I'm not sure about the fairing it looks a outta place.
I plan on running dual lights some time in the future, I have the Alien looking headlight, I'm still working on the mount.
If you like it thats all that matters.

Got a 2" super bright taillite from Custom Dynamics.com - and found that the Heritage light is sealed and has a 1" hole in the back for the light.
Aw, this saga just keeps getting...deeper. I decided to get brave and cut the taillight housing with a 2-1/8" hole saw for cutting door handles - WARNING: When doing this, keep a tight handgrip on the nacelle, and GO SLOWLY! Plastic will GRAB sawteeth and shatter or whack you good. Use your slowest speed on the press.

then I trimmed the rubber from the hole area for regluing with hot melt:

THEN I found out the '05 is NOT an 1157 bulb! My manual is WRONG -damn Chilton-so the hunt for a receptacle began. Lo and beeehold! A turn signal from our old Toyota is not only an 1157, but is 1" with the SAME TABS and FITS PERFECTLY!!! So, in goes the new receptacle with some modified splice connectors for the wires:

The old taillite was bright enough to work:

And the new taillite looks like the brake is on in the daytime!

...and when I hit the brakes...BEEEEM! It will sear your eyeballs! My camera kept shutting down trying to take pics of it - too bright!
Downside of this light is no refraction to the license plate - it's dark at night - not that anyone could read it anyway with the light on. The world's first ToyoDavidson Tail light?
Edit: added LED license plate lights suggested below by Citoriplus to make up for the lack of them on the "bulb". They really need to organize their website so folks can see what all they have and order accordingly. These plate lights are a bit of a blue tint more than white - very custom look to them. Pics don't do justice.

...almost forgot: $41.00 with shipping from customdynamics.com

I can't swear to it, but I believe that all automotive 1157 tailight sockets use the same hole size and tab arrangement.
Its one of those industry standard kind of things like the bulb pin out arrangment.
When everyone uses the same setup, they all benifit from cheaper design, manufacture, and replacement parts supply costs.
BTW you can always add two or four white LED bolts to the plate bracket to light up the plate at night.
Just put them in and splice the wires into the run line to the tailight.

These are from Custom Dynamics and come with a White light for the plate and a second circuit (facing the rear) with Amber or Red light so they can operate as replacement or auxillary turn (Amber) or brake (Red) lights.

Here's a link to the index's for this thread.
Check through them and look for A/C mods, there are a bunch of them, so you should have a choice of ways to go.
