Mine isn't bolted to the floor. If I'm by my self, which I usually am, I have a couple of buckets with close to 100-200# of wheel weights. I just place the buckets on one side or the other of the chalk depending if I'm entering or leaving it. The only pain is moving the buckets around.

I cut a short piece of 2X10 and laid it on the floor between the wall and the chock, or find a spot you can buck it up against the wall directly, only need support to keep it from sliding forward when you are pulling into it, to come out I give it a push forward to compress the forks a little, when it springs back it provides some momentum when you ****** it out, while seated on the bike.

I wish HD would make a center stand as standard equipment which would eliminate having to spend $ on this setup.

Sometimes I pay a local homeless guy to sit on it in the garage and hold it up straight, win win.

Great idea, I'll use this one

Yes I have two lifts. One is the HF lift which we can currently get for 299 (with coupon) as well as 1500 lbs lift from Complete Hydraulics "TCMLW" and have the #97841 chock installed on both as well as 2 more that are loose in the garage as we have multiple bikes in our stable.
