Looks good, definitely thinking about 2" deluxe lift!
There is a real difference in the look. Seems more streamlined than just with the front lift. Glad you like it.

Yeah as you can see from the pictures that the front fender mud flap is gone. Its on the road somewhere between here and work. Im not sure but I think the tiny bolt holding it in wasn't big enough to have enough thread to seal deal. So that s some change that everyone can save from spending.

3/13/12
Dropped the bike off at the dealership last week for a number of reasons. First, I've been having numbness in my hands while only riding for 30 minutes. I think there are a number of possibilities as to why. I laid my bike down on the left side the first year I had it. Barely damaged anything. Just a few scratches on the primary cover and left handlebar mirror. Over time however, I started to notice the fact that the handlebars were no longer properly straight. The left grip was clearly sitting higher than the right grip. The tops of the front forks were also slightly off. Not by much but it should not have offset anything.

Since the bike was still under warranty, I wanted to make sure nothing could get fixed via Warranty instead of my pocket. They made sure everything was good. Since I've been swamped at work, I went ahead and had them do the work on it.

Installed Handlebars 14" thick apes, vibranators in the handlebars (www.vibranator.com) new clutch, throttle and brake cables, new oil cooler attached to front left frame tube, and fog lamps rewired directly into the power of the headlight - they now come on when in low beam setting.

Just as they completed the work, the Headlamp Modulation Kit came in - makes the headlight flash during the day to be more noticed.

I'll never be done... I'm always messing with stuff.

Update.

Completely different ride. I however still notice a specific vibration at certain higher rpms that shouldn't be there. The even more odd thing is that only the right handle of the handlebar was providing all the vibration. So I figured with my changes, even as simple as they were, it was time to retune. Been running smart tune with my laptop recording the entire trips to and from work for the past week. After each session and retune the vibrations are reduced. I've also been making the vibrations occur while recording. Gotta hold the throttle position for about 7-10 seconds minimum so that the smart tuner can make decent changes at that rpm/gear. I think I'll be running the tuner for another week or 2 so I can get a really smooth tune.

Wow, did not realize it has already been three months since my last update.

First off, I spent 2 whole months (8 weeks, 5 days a week doing about 60-70 miles a day) and then performed the smart tune with the recorded rides. It's pretty smooth now. The new handlebars are awesome. I'm really loving it.

Unfortunately, after going through all this work, I find out that my medical condition will not really provide me safety in riding on two-wheels as much as I'd like to admit. And my wife and I have taken a demo ride on a Tri-Glide recently. I've made the decision to go ahead and sell this motorcycle and move to an 3 wheeler.

So I will be putting this on the for sale section. Sadly. I shall miss it, but someone will be extremely happy.

Good luck with the new three wheeler. Saw one in Idaho when I was over there and really liked it. unfortunately cant afford the extra coin to get one even though I am getting to the point eventually ill need one too. Hope it all works out for you. I know you put a lot of effort into the street bob. Ride safe.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm not leaving everything Dyna behind. I've found a stock 103 air cleaner kit from a 2012 dyna wide glide to put on the Tri-glide. Good bye football air cleaner cover! There's something precious about that tear-drop air cleaner for me.

I've read through much of the thread but I didnt see anything on how the exhaust from the Fat Bob/Wide Glide attaches. I understand you have a different bike now too. Was the exhaust bolt on? did it require any special brackets from the FB/WG or aftermarket? Did it require a tune afterwards?

Thanks!
