Default HD1BT bluetooth problems

Just thought I would ask if anyone is having any issues with their HD1BT Bluetooth. I am connecting my roadtech 665 to the HD1BT Bluetooth. The first time it worked fine. But when I powered the radio up today and it auto connects to the 665, the speed of the songs appear faster or higher pitched, and a short pause about every 3 or 4 seconds. I can disable the Bluetooth on the gps and the mp3 player on the gps plays perfectly through its own little speaker. I enable Bluetooth connection again and same problem. I can turn off the HD1BT and power it back up, then do enable Bluetooth again on the gps and it will play normally about 1 out of every 5 times I do this. The problem is really annoying. I guess I am going to have to call the manufacturer about this. Has anyone else had this problem?

LOL, I am beginning to think the problem may be the Roadtech 665 in pairing to the head unit. My phone paired fine and worked fine each time playing mp3's. I wouldn't know where to start troubleshooting the zumo 665.

Ok, after speaking with the Garmin rep for about 30 minutes, I was told the Garmin Zumo devices were designed to only pair with headsets and not headunits, although he said it still should work if the device is capable of A2DP and 1.1 Bluetooth, which it is. I have figured out that every time I turn the switch to the bike on, I have to clear the Bluetooth history in the headunit and the zumo and repair the two and it will work fine until the next time I turn the switch off. This sucks and I am not going to have to go through this each and every time and put up with it. So, I am going to remove my headlight as I am pretty sure I left the 3.5mm output jack from the garmin power cable assembly to where I could get to it if I need to. I am going to connect it to the auxiliary 3.5mm to the headunit, I already ran a 3.5mm connector to the RCA's of the headunit just in case. Glad I did.
