I'm running a Sony deck with the Soundstream PN4.520D AMP (it is my fairing). I run a set of Titan II 6.5 in my fairing and a set of Pioneer TS-D6902R in my bag (1 6x9 in each). What I'm looking at doing is adding Hogtunes lids and another set of 6x9's. question is?
I'd get another one of those SS amps for the bags & get another set of those pioneers. They are great speaks & love power. 4 of those bridged on the SS should do quite nice on jumping your tunes. Then bridge the front amp on the fairing speaks

Will this all run of my current AMP?
if so what is the best way to wire it?
What 6x9's do you recommend?
Thank you
Going to need two amps. A four channel and a two channel. I would leave the soundstream* just like it is running the Titan II's and the Pioneers. Buy the Hat 6x9's from biketronics to run in the lids and power them with this little beast:
Use the hog tunes bracket to mount it in the fairing.
Note* The 4 channel version of the power acoustic RZ4.2000D evil twin brother to the 520.D will give you a significant increase in power to the titan II's and the Pioneers.
The biketronics 6x9s are a great speaker. I love the ones im running. I would also love to sell you the extra set I have. There new........$275 to your door!

ridedaddy - If you don't sell them to the OP . . . hit me on the PM. I'm always in the market for a good set of 6 x 9's .
I ran my front fairing and lower speakers together 2 ohm and ran my pioneers HT lids on the rear channel by them selves. Sounds fine, a little adjusting on the gains. Wires run on top of the tank to either side of the seat to quick disconnects . Happy with the sound and saved money and space of another amp.
First off thanks to all who replied last time.. Now bare with me here.. Lol Ok since I posterd this I have updated my system with the group purchase through Biketronics. I purchased the BT 7.1 pro's and the BT4180.
I'm still running the Sony head unit and the 1 pair of Pioneer. TS-D6902R 6 x 9's in the bag firing at the wheel and with the BT4180 and the Pro's my systeam sound good and full at any volume really.
I still have my Hog Tunes lids fresh back from paint and ready to instal but, that where my probolem is... I removed the 6x9's from my bags to try in the lids. I just can't say I'm satisfied with the clearity and the overall crispness or loudness of the trebble from them. I mean I love them in the bag and when I talked to Bill at Biketronics he told me the BT4180 would run the 4 pioneer 6x9's and even sent me a harness to run them in parallel. As that was my plan.
So the question is what 6x9 can I put in the lid that would be loud, crisp and clear and also work with the 6x9's I already have.. Sorry I do not want to add an amp in the bags as I do travel.. Matter of fact I was almost thinking of getting some take off saddle bag bottoms and using those to get the 6x9's out of the bag.. That's a big maybe tho.

Simple the BT 6x9 Titan II. These things are a beast. The more they break in the better they sound. I have the pioneers facing the wheel as well with the BT's in the lids. Great bass on the pioneers. But the more I listen to the BT speakers. The more I like the clarity and bass. So much in fact I'm going with the BT's facing the wheel as well.
