I just relocated my iPod module today. Everyone says just to tuck it under the head unit. I did that but the only way I could really get it to fit is sideways and about half of the module sticks out past the head unit.
I used velcro and then a zip tie around the module and the head unit input plugs.
I was just wondering if this is how everyone else does it?
In the pics below you can see the black module right below the head unit.

Thanks.
I will find out tomorrow as I will be doing the same thing. I will also have to move the CB module under the head unit. Did you sit the amp on top of the head unit and stick it with velcro?

I am still doing the install so I haven't secured the amp yet. I am planning on velcroing it to the top of the head unit though.

I just relocated it this morning. No issues it's flush with the radio. I have an Ultra so the I had to relocate the cb module next to it. Did the same as you Velcro and zip tie around both modules. I did find that to get the modules all the way under I and to move a wire harness out of the way or it would stick out like yours. I don't think it would hurt if it stuck out 1/2" or less.
Good deal. I went out there an reevaluated things. I stuck the module in length-wise on the left hand side. I didn't like how the velcro felt holding the module in so I used some heavy duty 3M automotive tape and zip ties.

I don't care for the Velcro and zip ties to mount the modules but the brackets once sold by a forum member are no longer avalible. If the become available I would scrap the Velcro and zip ties.
Great pictures. I have the same set up as you with the CB and Ipod interface. I was planning putting my soundstream on top and not relocating anything. I have no problem relocating the CB and interface if I have too. My question is do you have any pictures of how you wired up your inputs from the wire harness to the amp and from the amp to the speakers. I see you used normal speaker wire in the pictures.

I can snap some pics and get back to you on that.
I tried to put the module on top of the amp but there is just not enough clearance and the fairing will hit.
