Wasting your time and effort without an amp. Might as well leave the stock speakers in place. Gotta have an amp on a motorcycle. Best advice I can give you. Great start with the HU though.
What is your budget for speakers.
For $200.00 you can get an amp and speakers, then a boss amp install kit for another $20.00 and $20.00 more for adapter rings from EasternPA.
So for $250.00 more than what you already spent you can have a good start to better sounds.

I might just keep the stock speakers in but I figured a new head unit and speakers would sound better than the stockers. Already had the stereo from years ago, just out the $197 for the biketronics kit.

The 62.11i are 2 ohm speakers.
Or if you want I have a brand new SS PN4.520 amp and 52.11i speakers never mounted or used for $150.00plus shipping.
I went with the BT4180 and and titan II 6.5's
If you just want the amp for $75.00 I can throw in a pair of the 6.5" Easternpa adapter rings for free just pay for shipping.
