Default Handlebar Controls?

Besides BT who else makes the control modules to retain your handlebar controls? Asking for a friend...................

Thanks

BT makes one that retains AVC

Hawg Wired is another good plug and play one
Metra ASWC-1 is a cheaper option that requires some splicing

Yes I'm aware that BT has one as that is what I have in my scoot, but my buddy wants to know if there are other manufactures making the same thing but at a cheaper cost I guess?..................Sorry he's cheap!!!

Nothing wrong with being frugal. The Metra ASWC-1 works just fine. That's what I'm running and it works just as good as the higher prices ones.

2010 Limited with some stuff

Each one has different options.

Metra can turn a button into a mute function
Hawgwired turns volume push in button into a pause button
and I think BT has the avc control

I tried being frugal and going with Hawg Wired. It stopped working in less than a year. Would constantly change the station or restart the song on it's own. Now I have the one from BT and I couldn't be happier. Just remember that at the end of the day you always get what you pay for. I had to learn this again the hard way.

I bought the Hawg Wired years ago and constantly have issues with the left front speaker cutting out. It appears to be where the wires go into the block held in with whatever it is...
May wire the radio direct and eliminate the hand controls altogether...
