Got my tour pack back from paint today and completed my install. Running a BT4180, BT Line Levelersm 7.1 Pros in the faring, Swinebox tour pack with Junes chopped pods, holding BT 6.5s in the rear.
Had the HU flashed back to stock with rears turned on. Fade and AVC work.
Was threatening to storm so didnt take her out, so shot some video with engine running in front of my house so didnt max it out. But sounds great. Very happy with the BT products
Video qulity really doesn't do the quality justice.
Sounds good!! I like those rear pods. You may wanna watch running the AVC. The guys have been discussing it in another thread. They think it may be the culprit in blowing out Babyboys tweeters. Read about it here.
scarin, the system sound great.
I am considering swapping out the Kappas in the rear pods with the BT6.5's. Let me know how you like them going down the road.
acchd, the BT Line Levelers really do the job, and IMO are a must for 2014+ bikes with the stock HU.
Thanks all. Havent had a chance to really ride with the new setup, but getting the bike ready for a ride leaving Christmas day. Heading west to California and then North as far as weather permits and then down the 1/101 to SD. So I will see how they really perform. I will take the advice though and shut the AVC off.

That's going to be a hell of a ride. Lows are already in the teens up there. Hope you heated gear.
If you find you need a little more volume you can up the AVC some. The BT amp and the auto gains are designed to protect the speakers.
Hello everyone, I am new to this side of the forum. I just purchased a 2016 street glide special which is still at the dealers over the winter as I don't have a garage.
Scarin, your systems sounds really nice man, congrats on a sweet system.
I am planning on making a stereo change my first major upgrade this winter and am trying to decide which way to go. I have spoken with both Bill at biketronics and Peter at sounds customz. Both have really top notch systems from what I have read, however I was leaning towards biketronics because of their warranty. However the local shop in my area that specializes in audio installation is a soundz customz dealer and is pushing me to go with that set up because he is familiar with it and have done several soundz customz nstalls with excellent results. Therefore I will probably go with the soundz customz level 4 package with focal 165 krc's,s and the arc moto 600.4. I am then thinking about ordering the BT 547 5x7s in my lids (I would prefer the 5x7s over the 6x9s for a bit more bag space). soundz sells the Imagine 157.2s which have similar specs as the BT 547s but the BTs have a higher RMS rating of 120 versus the 157.2s that have a RMS of 100. I welcome any thoughts that folks may have with the system that I plan on going with. Lastly, I apologize for high jacking the thread as I am not very good at posting and still am trying to navigate how things work here on the Forum. Thanks in advance for any input. You guys do a hell of a job with sharing advice and your exoeriences.
