Installing an additional amp for bag speakers and all is good with that process but I get everything spooled up and ready for some noise and ironically the only channel that was untouched during this install is not working properly. Only one fairing speaker working!!!! WTF!!!!
The only thing I did with this channel was unplug the RCAs on the BT355 in order to relocate it. Checked all connections. Moved red RCA to white location to trouble shoot and now the other speaker works. I'm assuming the BT355 went bad?
Dude check the RCA's at the amp as well make sure they are seated all the way in. Hell check the RCA's all together and swap out another set. No way a LOC went bad just sitting there.

I stand corrected. I lost the entire right side of the sled speakers. I took the new amp out of the loop and went back to just the original BT set up and only the left side works.
Not sure how to reset the radio but will look into that.
It worked perfect last night with the old speakers installed. Let the games begin!!!!

T.
Just disconnect the positive side of the battery and the whole thing resets.
This is getting even stranger, but I think I have it working. Pulled all connections off battery post for a few minutes, re-connected, did the diagnostic start up process on HU by pressing and holding the power/mute button, did a system reset, the went to the audio page and did a speaker test and all speakers tested fine with the test tone. Exited that area and tested radio and all seems to be fine.
Don't have a clue what was the source of the problem or what part of that process fixed it,for now, but I think Gan has the secret handshake regarding removing all power from the bike thus resetting everything and anything that could have gotten snake bit in the installation process. I'm actually thinking the BT4180 got snake bit because the speaks on the other amp worked fine throughout the troubleshooting.
These electrons, protrons, neurons, and homotrons are some crazy *****.
Ya, I have been trying to squeeze this install in while the man has been keeping me down. Working my **** off.
Still scratching my head regarding how I go to sleep with half the effing speakers working and when I wake up its all better. Hoping just a good nights rest and a hard system reset was all it needed.
Get back in town tomorrow and hope to get some good noise cranking tomorrow pm.
