Seems like the speakers went on the first one and might be the problem here also. I'll run it to our local stereo shop and find what component is giving me the trouble. The speakers were supplied with the system. I get very low volume on the left speaker with static. Nothing on the other one.

Have you physically laid eyes on the amp and speakers to make sure nothing has come loose?

I've removed the fairing and checked all the wiring and connections. Nothing obvious. 12 volt to the amp. Might get a set of speakers with the same ohm rating and stick them on there before I run it to the shop.

Doesn't matter what the ohm rating is on the trial speakers. Hook some to it and see what your dealing with....speakers or amp.

That's a definite possibility.

I just changed the system in an 03 SERK I own. Its an aftermarket faring though with no grip controls. Put in an Aquatic system with blue tooth. However I'm lacking the understanding to do a good job of trouble shooting this system. I know voltage fluctuates to the speakers so checking that wouldn't do much good. I'll just try to find a spare set of speakers of the same rating and see what happens.

Yeah that's what I understand is that over ohms will smoke the speakers at high volumes but under ohms will overload the amp so I'll look around for something to do the test with.

Try the spare speakers to the amp first. If you get nothing then bypass the amp all together. Use the speaker outputs right off the radio to the speaker like it was when it was stock. If you still get nothing it'll be in the HU.

A member here said that Bill told him the BT amps can handle a 1ohm load. Just find you something to check for sound is all you need.
