I'm not sure the stock stereo will support four channel either. If it does I have no clue in that massive wiring harness where the speaker wires are. Oh well that's what the stereo shops are for.

I did do that already and yes I have 12 volt at the amp. Well I'll keep you posted and thanks for the input I'm off to the local stereo shop to see if they have a set of speakers I could use for the test.

So here we are. Speakers are blown. One is shorted to zero ohms which may have damaged the amp as well.
I checked my stock stereo and it doesn't even have balance let alone fade. I'd like to upgrade the entire system to four channel and install speaker lids on my bags.
Any recommendations on a plug and play system. I see Jensen builds one that says plug and play.

I don't find any balance mode either. I will check with the dealer to see if it can be activated. I see there are two large plugs in the rear of the stereo and all the plug and play units I see have only the one 23 pin plug in them. Again I'll check with the dealer. Thanks for the help.
