Default Replace stock head unit?

I'm planning on running a new 4 channel amp to two sets of new speakers on a 2010 RG. What are some advantages to replacing my stock head unit?About 90% of use will be from my iPhone with 10% from a cd.

Cleaner signal at 4 to 5v with low level inputs. More features to adjust certain frequencies or better known as EQ. Ability to play USB, CD's, Iphone. Pandora etc., Basically many more features than the stock radio.

Thanks, I figured that an aftermarket head unit would have more features, I was mostly curious about how much better the sound quality would be over stock. I really like the way my stock unit looks on the bike (HK on a 2010 RG) but if a new unit will sound better, I'm all in.

Sound is not even close.

The only issue with the RG is the slanted inner fairing will make it difficult to read the radio in the sunlight vs. the stock radio. But sound quality is not in the same league compared to a good aftermarket let alone the rest of the features.
