Keep an eye out on eBay. This Crutchfield price is a bit high considering these stores should be clearing their shelves to make room for the new model.
I think under 500 is still a good price for the quality but think u can get these in the 300 range if u have a quick trigger finger.

How would you compare the 602's to the K2's? Good to hear you are enjoying this setup.
Found a couple sets being sold on eBay from great Britain for around $300, buy worried about them coming from Great Britain and from eBay.
They are legit but I think they are out of them now
I like the KRC's better only because they are so clear, it's really amazing how clear they are. If I could have this clear and the bass of 602's I'd be in heaven.
The problem with the 602's is they are right at the cusp of not being loud enough and clear. The KRC's there is no doubt. You loose so much with the 602's as they need sooo much more power to get loud. I played the 602's at max volume (I had the LL's cranked up) while riding and that's with 200w from a bridged TM400x4, the KRC's I'm happy at 12/17 but can go up more but it's just not needed with only 150w from the 600.4 and I have the LL's waaay down right now.
I'll be doing more dialing in before I video, speaker wire shows delivered today so i may run the lids tonight (lids aren't done yet though). Week or so and I should be dialed in. Work has been kicking my *** so some nights I just don't feel like working on the bike

I think you made a great choice being that you have bag lids to help with the lower end. If the Focals had more low end I would have jumped on them. I'm hoping the Hertz are lower like the 602's and clear like the focal. What's going in the bags? 692's?

Which Hertz? I tried the Millie's and was unimpressed, had 200w going to them too. YMMV, some people don't like the Focal's /shrug
For now just Pioneer 6902's to see how they sound. They are soly for parking lot and around town bass.

I would be very conservative on the pioneer if you want them to last. I got the Mille Legend mlk165.3 components. The best set they make other than a neo magnet version 1650.3The legend is near identical to hsk165xl components. Which mille did you have? Coaxials are so limited that separates are the way to go really. I'm after pure volume and sq with a decent low end.
